End Fire Couplet Array Frequency range 70 - 490 Mhz The End Fire Couplet Array EDF/DD incorporates a very high front to back ratio which reduces any unwanted signals arriving through the back of the antenna. These antenna re very robust and are manufactured to a high degree of telecommunication specification. The EFC DD are fabricated from one piece of tube to eliminate the possibility of any high resistence points. The internal balun is completely seal moulded in black carbon loaded polyethylene. This antenna is designed for applications where no back signal is required and minimum interference is a must. This antenna therefore is ideally suited for Coastguard use.
